Professor J Andrew Bradley

Professor J Andrew Bradley is Professor of Surgery at the University of Cambridge, and Honorary Consultant surgeon at Addenbrook's Hospital in Cambridge. Prior to this he worked in Glasgow, firstly as a Consultant Surgeon at the Western Infirmary, and then as Chair of Surgery at the University of Glasgow. His research interests encompass clinical and experimental transplantation, particularly the immunological mechanisms of allograft rejection. Professor Bradley has also enjoyed a significant number of outside appointments.
His previous positions have included President of the British Transplantation Society, member of the Expert Reference Group of the Renal NSF, and member of the Kidney Research UK Grants Committee. He is currently Secretary of the International Transplantation Society and member of the Unrelated Live donor Transplant Authority (ULTRA).
