The award-winning construction company, Freemont, are inviting other North-West building businesses to battle it out at Lake Windemere on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th September 2010 to raise life-saving funds for Kidney Research UK in their Freemont Adventure Challenge.
Meeting on Saturday morning,‘Trail Plus' will organise teams of four to compete throughout the afternoon, carrying out kayaking, walking, mental agility tests and mountain biking and other outdoor activities, to be arranged.
Freemont have become a leading construction company since they began in 2000 boasting top awards, such as ‘Best Performing Constructor’. Not only are they passionate about construction, they also have a strong realisation of social and environmental responsibility, and see the need to lift the morale of their staff during the ‘recession blues’ with a team-building weekend to raise money for charity.
Other North-West construction companies are encouraged to take part in this great networking opportunity. The day will consist of a number of testing events, including kayaking, cycling, orienteering and mental agility with a few other surprises thrown in. Teams of four are to compete, the competition turned up when extra points are awarded to the team that raises the most sponsorship for Kidney Research UK.
