With a gift in your Will, one day we will find a cure for kidney disease
Around 70% of our expenditure goes directly into funding research. Over the last 21 years, we have invested over £30 million in kidney research.
One of the most important ways to help us to fund research is by leaving a gift in your Will. This is the ideal way to make sure a cause you care about endures, improving and saving lives well into the future.
Thanks to gifts in Wills, we have been involved in numerous research programmes that have led to a better understanding of kidney disease, and better treatments for people who are struck down by the condition. Over the past 45 years, our researchers have contributed to many developments that are now saving lives.
Legacy Receptions
By making a donation in your Will to Kidney Research UK, you can help ensure that years from now, our researchers will find a cure that could save and transform lives, young and old.
As part of our ongoing programme of lunchtime legacy receptions across the country we recently visited the magnificent Burghley House near Stamford and Hopetoun House near Edinburgh. Presentations covering the work of the charity and research funded through gifts in wills were made by eminent kidney doctors and charity professionals.
Dr Alan Bevington from the University of Leicester talked about his innovative research into the impact and importance of exercise for kidney patients and Prof Sandy Davison spoke about his experiences of changes and improvements in kidney treatments over the last 50 years.
If you are thinking of including Kidney Research UK in your Will and would like more information about how your gift can help fund research why not come along to one of our Legacy receptions around the country
