Raechel Travis on the plinth

plinth

Raechel Travis from Runcorn was offered an hour on the Fourth Plinth of Trafalgar Square and filled it with a sponsored skip to raise life-saving funds for Kidney Research UK.

The Fourth Plinth, usually occupied by statues of kings and generals, was empty for 100 days for people to create an image of themselves and the whole of humanity in Antony Gormley’s project ‘One and Other’. Raechel’s step father suffered from kidney disease and was lucky enough to receive a transplant six years ago, so raising money for Kidney Research UK is a cause that she is passionate about.
